Arya Pandey is an animator and illustrator from Lucknow, India. Currently pursuing hisbachelor’s degree in Communication Design at the National Institute of Design India, Arya has always been keen on making up stories and playing with various media to communicate the same. Be it animation filmmaking, illustrations or graphic narratives, storytelling has always been a driving force in his work and practice. In 2023, his animated film Who Watches the Watchmen? Bagged numerous selections in a number of animation film festivals including the Animator’s Guild India Fest 2023. Arya continues to explore techniques, methods and media of storytelling, telling one story at a time.
