Ananya Bhardwaj is a PhD candidate in the Department of English at the George Washington University. She is the recipient of the Edward Guiliano Global Fellowship by the Modern Lan-guage Association of America (MLA) in 2023 and the Zubaan Research Grant for their cross-cultural project, No Space for Work (NSFW), in 2020. Her work, specifically in the fields of memory studies, anthropocene studies, and critical refugee studies, have been published in the Palgrave Encyclopedia of Global Shakespeare, Journal of Comparative Literature and Aesthet-ics, Contemporary Literary Review India, and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
