Several months into his PhD in horticulture, Shashank escaped to become a farmer. But 6 years of a beautiful life couldn’t keep him, and he ran away to advertising. Because 25 years as creative director seems like a prison term too, he writes books to break free. Quite naturally he won’t restrict himself to literary fiction, so his work ranges from horror to stories of innocence. His second novel will be published by Harper Collins India in July 2023. He has recently exited all social media for the sake of sanity and to create pure time for writing. Shashank lives in New Delhi.
