Shefali Thapliyal

Shefali Thapliyal is a journalist-turned-writer, a move made out of prioritizing motherhood over a career. An English Honors graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad, Shefali has worked for several newspapers and media houses after dabbling in advertising during her college days. With an Army officer for a father, she grew up moving from various army cantonment to cantonment and believes that’s how the travel bug bit her. A strong believer in women rights and liberation, she writes women-centric novels, having finished her first one In and Out of Love. She’s currently working on a verse-novel. She’s married to a mariner and has two daughters.
