Ultimate Grandmother Hacks: 50 Kickass Traditional Habits for a Fitter You spells out traditional habits that we seem to have discarded along the way to modernism, but must re-include in our everyday living again. This book is dedicated to the lessons of healthy eating that I have learnt subconsciously
from my mother’s kitchen, while growing up.
 
There are two parts to the book. Part one is the bigger chunk of the book and has more than 30 chapters—divided into food, lifestyle and mind. Certain chapters detail a habit,
while others mention a precise ‘to do’, a prescription of sorts. Each chapter talks about a yesteryear habit that we can incorporate back in our lives to reverse the downward spiralling trend of our health in the urban life. Part two has a three-month-long Traditional Habits Calendar with steps that are easy to follow, veggie prescriptions and more. These instructions will help you become healthier and almost permanently change your outlook towards eating. At the end of the book, there are a few tools designed to help you reach your aim of getting thin and fit, and 30 simple, yet delicious old-world recipes that you can include in your menus.
