Just when Katha thinks nothing could be worse than betrayal, cheating, and heartbreak, the universe sends an unexpected twist her way – death.
She cannot stay in Nasayan, the afterlife, because she has been reaped before her time. And she cannot be sent back because she knows what comes after death.
When she discovers why she was reaped, she knows she has no option but to lead the war against the evil that looms over Nasayan. She must find allies in an increasingly fragmented world driven by petty self-interest and extreme bigotry.
As forces realign on the chessboard, Katha has a larger concern: Will she be able to return to her mortal life even if she vanquishes the enemy? Can Katha erase her life in Nasayan and reset time, or will she forever be in limbo?
