The Kalki series is a trilogy and a character study of two individuals: Kalki and Kali – both of them being in the forefront of the Dharm and Adharm battle, the good versus evil in the fictional country of Illavarti, reminiscent of the Vedic Age of India.
Kalki, a young boy from the village of Shambala grows and suffers through turmoil to become the Avatar of this Age. He has to travel to Mahendragiri Mountains where the wise teacher Bhargav Ram sits. He is meant to train Kalki in the Ways of An Avatar, but along his journey he meets Bajrang (Hanuman), he loses love, gets betrayed and learns how to battle obstacles.  
Kali, on the other hand, is the last of an Asura who must protect his kingdom and find the truth and horrors of his ancestry.  
The three novels that include: Dharmayoddha Kalki: Avatar of Vishnu, Satyayoddha Kalki: Eye of Brahma and Mahayoddha Kalki: Sword of Shiva show how one isn’t born in the sphere of evil or good, but their choices define their path.
